McQuarrie was the official conceptual designer and illustrator for the original Star Wars Trilogy (1977-1983). These action figures started with conceptual drawings through McQuarrie's artistic work for LucasFilm, LTD. Each concept figure bears McQuarrie's computerized signature on the lower right corner on the front of each concept card. (Note: Signatures are not hand written. If they were the collector value could be multiple times current values.) The McQuarrie Concept cards have their own unique packaging feature's his art.
