1981 Winner of 3 Golden Globe Awards including
Outstanding Production.
The Love Boat aired entirely on a real cruise ship named, The Pacific Princess, (now Princess Cruises).
Each week a new set of (celebrity) passengers dealt with various issues and comical stories of romance and love.
Fortunately, the ship's crew was there to offer relationship advice, and helped put the romance back together just
before the cruise was over.
