About Trading Cards

Trading cards are one of the oldest but still a very popular way of building collectibles.

The oldest trading cards are said to be sports (baseball cards) from the late 1800's.

TV and Movie cards capture fond memories of Hollywood history. Trading cards are limited in production to the year that is shown by the particular item.

The oldest trading card company who is still in business today, Topps®, was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 1938.

"Steve Austin, astronaut. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology...to build the world's first, bionic man...Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster."

The Six Million Dollar Man (Donruss) (1975)
NASA test pilot, Col. Steve Austin (Lee Majors) suffered a critical flight crash in The Six Million Dollar Man (1975). He is "rebuilt" using bionics (see caption left), and a hit TV show is born. Co-stars Austin's boss Richard Anderson.

This original, highly rare 1975 Donruss factory box comes complete with all 24 wax packs. We do not have historical data at this time on the number of cards per pack. Each pack includes unknown number of cards and or unknown number of stickers, and one stick of gum per pack. Some information we obtained suggests there are all stickers and a single piece of gum per pack. Despite its miraculous ability to survive consistency, please do not eat the gum. Excellent condition considering age.
