About EPI Blue Cards
| The original Episode I (EPI) Action Figures were produced 1998-1999
and had a red card back with a picture of Darth Maul, thus they are called "Episode I Red Cards." They
are also called, "EPI" (short for Episode I), and "Commtech Cards" because each card comes
with a small computer chip with each Episode I (Red Card) figure. The Commtech chips play recorded messages and
actual voices from the figure in each package. A Commtech Reader is necessary to hear character
the messages (sold separately, available in our Accessories store). |
